To put to reality the diocesan plans for the digitalization and automation of Curia offices and the whole Diocese, Bishop Patricio A. Buzon, SDB, D.D. called for the first meeting of the Board of Directors of the Diocesan Office on Information Technology or DOIT on January 13, 2021.

Among the resolutions made on that session were the establishment of the DOIT and the staffing for the office. The members of the BOD was also introduced to ‘the phases’ involved in the Diocese’s digitalization and automation program.

The Board of the newly established DOIT is composed of Bishop Patricio A. Buzon, SDB, DD, Msgr. Joy G. Jimera, VG as presider, Mr. Dennis B. Doblar as IT Director and member and Fr. Emiel P. Mijares as Managing Director and member.

Frs. Gregorio J. Neri, Mitchel Guadalupe and Roy Christian D. Gesulgon, JD, MA were also appointed members of the Board.

The Office of the DOIT is located at the Diocesan Treasurer’s Office, Bishop’s House, Bacolod City.
